Wedding trends in 2023.

The Briliantin team have prepared very impressive wedding decorations that will be relevant next year. From unique colour palettes to fresh new ideas for your celebration we have you covered!
Global trends in modern wedding celebrations, include new elements as well as some forgotten classics. If you want to enhance the experience of your guests and be sure that it will not be forgotten, you can pay special attention to the wedding decoration trends that will be relevant in 2023.

Here we will give you a few ideas of what will be the current trends for the 2023 season:

1. Add bright colors in the wedding decoration:

One of the brightest trends we predict for 2023 is bold and unique color palettes. Say goodbye to the white dress and pastel shades. More and more couples are opting for bold and memorable color combinations that reflect their personalities.

Colors, to the greatest extent, define the overall look of a wedding. Colour shades also contribute to the good mood of the guests and the feeling with which they will remember your wedding day. Traditional light and neutral colors are nice, but bright combinations are much more memorable.

If you're planning a wedding in 2023, don't be afraid to experiment with some unconventional color combinations. And remember, it's your wedding, so anything goes.

2. Outside ritual in a tight circle:
In the post-pandemic environment, more and more newlyweds are opting for outdoor wedding ceremonies in a tight family circle. Take newlyweds Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, who are the latest celebrity couple. They are the ones who brought back the trend of an outdoor ceremony with only their closest ones.  This year, the Kravis traveled to Italy for their nuptials with the entire Kardashian/Jenner/Barker clan.

The very fact that you will be inviting fewer guests gives you the advantage of investing in more lavish and voluminous decorations, as the Kravis did.

3. Use floral installations:

Another trend we are seeing from the Briliantin team for the upcoming 2023 are just the floral installations coming down from the ceiling, be it above the dance floor or the "lampion" type placed above each table.
Suspended from the ceiling, the floral and foliage arrangements appear as clouds floating in the space above guests' heads. Depending on the style of the wedding, the installations may be made of flowers and greenery, or entirely of greenery in the "greenery" style. This will also help make your wedding decorations even more breathtaking!

4. Suggest an interesting Candy Bar, for the cocktail:

If certain treats are your favorite, why not serve them at the wedding? Whether it's donuts, candy, ice cream, or something else - you can not only serve it, but make it an accent.
You can arrange an attraction for guests like an ice cream cart or a sweet bar with a variety of treats.
Weddings are not just a family celebration - they are an experience and ideally one that is as enjoyable for guests as it is delicious.

5. Flowers:

Minimalist style will be the order of the day in 2023. Couples were starting to tire of the crowded tables.
Tables will be cleaner, with a contemporary retrospective. Arrangements that are placed on tall vessels allow for more table space and will peak in 2023.
Couples increasingly prefer floral arrangements rather than much smaller arrangements. Having one large floral cloud, or floral arch gives better photo opportunities than something smaller.
There is also a trend in the types of wedding flowers that couples are choosing when it comes to decoration, namely high quality artificial flowers. This is great for us as a wedding agency, as we can help you get the most out of your wedding budget while doing our part to be more eco-friendly.

6. Colours of the year:
Although neutrals such as black, white and dusty pink made a comeback this past wedding season in 2022, wedding color predictions for 2023 are returning to brighter and bolder hues. We're going to share with you five breathtaking wedding colors that are sure to help your wedding stand out from the rest:

- Digital Lavender:
Starting with Pantone's color of the year for 2022, "Very Peri," this shade is a unique combination of blue and violet. It pairs well with earth tones like mossy green and bronze. Next year in 2023, the new colour, building on its predecessor 'Veri Peri', will be the colour 'Digital Lavender'. Subtle lavender tones will continue to lead the colour charts in the coming season, as people look for softer and pastel tones that help them find solace and calm.
If you're not sure if this should entirely be the colour of your event, you can include it as an accent to the details. Include it in smaller amounts as a light addition to the main colors.

- Colour "FUCHSIA":
Fuchsia Fedora is the perfect color option for couples who crave something bright and bold. The natural yellows and greens of summer and even early autumn would work amazingly as a backdrop for your photos. Since pink is just a fraction of red, you can use this color scheme to showcase the sensual and passionate connection between you and your partner. Red and its color combinations, evoke feelings of confidence and maturity that will help you enter this new chapter of your life.

* Colour "Gold Flake":
For those who want to add a bit of color to their wedding, but still retain the timeless feel that neutrals bring, "Gold Flake" will do just that. As a muted yellow, this color can help liven up a space. This color has warm and slightly brown hues that naturally connect with the earth. When most people think of yellow, they think of eternal sunshine and an overwhelming sense of happiness.

- Colour "MYKONOS BLUE":
Until recently the well-known "Dusty blue" colour will be current next year as "MYKONOS BLUE".
Brides have always wondered what that "something blue" should be to add to their wedding day, so why not have it as an accent in the decorations as well? Often associated with the sky and the ocean, blue can help create a calm and spacious atmosphere. This color is often paired with warm accents like peach or blues, which can help neutralize the iciness that this color can gravitate towards. Like white and black, blue is a classic that will never go out of style !

- Colour " Emerald":
Recently, the color green has gained popularity on apps like Tik Tok and Instagram. This tone mixes seamlessly with browns and granites, which can be ideal if you've chosen a winter wedding date. Since this color is darker than forest or olive green, it adds a sophisticated glow to any event.
